Coffee and Rock n Roll in Soho and what has Gina Lollobrigida got to do with anything?

The 2is Coffee Bar in Old Compton Street, Soho, London was where the British Skiffle scene launched a whole stack of Rock n Roll careers. From Tommy Steele to Ritchie Blackmore - they all started out in this tiny Soho basement, and all because a glamorous Italian actress wanted a perfect cappuccino anytime she was in town.
